CHICAGO (January 30, 2017) – Zapwater Communications, Inc. continues to expand the fast-growing beauty portfolio of the agency with the announcement of new client acquisitions, including men’s grooming brand Oars + Alps and revolutionary skincare line Advanced Clinicals. Advanced Clinicals initially retained Zapwater in March 2016 for social media, including community management, content creation, influencer engagement and social listening. The brand decided to expand its partnership with the agency to include media relations, strategic partnerships and event management in January 2017.

Advanced Clinicals is a revolutionary skincare line that stands behind high-quality ingredients and advanced, scientific delivery systems. Originally developed by chemists who wanted to create effective formulations using advanced technology, Advanced Clinicals is a collection of ‘cosmeceuticals.’ All Advanced Clinicals products retail for under $10 and feature ingredients such as Retinol, Vitamin C, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid and clinically rested anti-aging blends.

Oars + Alps retained Zapwater in January 2017 for media relations, strategic partnerships, event management, marketing communications and social media counsel. Oars + Alps is a direct-to-consumer men’s athleisure and natural grooming brand focused on selling high-end, premium skincare products to the on-the-go millennial man without the premium price. The three products in its core collection include a facial cleansing stick; hydrating 2-in-1 facial moisturizer and eye cream; and active armor deodorant, all of which feature alpine caribou moss sourced from the Arctic Circle in Northern Finland.

The addition of these two clients align with Zapwater's strategic move to focus on only five primary client categories: consumer products/services; design/real estate; fashion/beauty/retail; hospitality; and travel/destination. Both clients will be managed by the agency’s fashion/beauty/retail team.
