NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATION OF SERBIA RETAINS ZAPWATER COMMUNICATIONS

Chicago (August 8, 2016 ) – The National Tourism Organization of Serbia has retained Zapwater Communications to organize the first-ever group media trip from the United States.  Zapwater will be responsible for inviting travel and lifestyle media for a week-long October familiarization trip to the country Lonely Planet calls “warm, welcoming and a hell of a lot of fun.” The trip will also highlight Air Serbia’s new non-stop service from New York’s JFK International Airport to Belgrade’s Nicola Tesla International Airport.  Service launched in June 2016.

Zapwater, which was named USA agency of record for Visit Finland earlier in 2016, has a rapidly growing travel and destination marketing practice. Recent work includes Visit Maldives, Visit Luxembourg and Icelandair.

Publicist Neda Bencun, a fluent Serbian speaker, will lead the trip along with Zapwater’s president David Zapata.
