Zapwater Communications has continued to position itself as one of the leading travel and hospitality agencies in the country. This was further proven at this year’s Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.

HSMAI recognized Zapwater Communications, Inc. with a Platinum Adrian Award as one of the twenty best travel marketing initiatives of 2009. HSMAI paid tribute to Zapwater for its work on behalf of Hotel Sax Chicago during the 20th annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala. President, David Zapata, along with Group Director of Hospitality, Annie Neyman Block and Account Supervisor, Susan Schrieber, attended the black-tie affair on Feb. 1, 2010 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Zapwater won the Platinum Adrian Award for its highly creative "Turning Regular Joes into J-Lo's" packages and publicity program developed for the Hotel Sax Chicago. The Zapwater-developed concept allowed hotel guests to stay in rooms with amenities found in celebrity riders. The campaigned garnered a lot of national media attention including a feature story on ABC's Nightline.
