ZAPWATER COMMUNICATIONS WINS PRESTIGIOUS BRAND BUILDER AWARD AT GOLDEN TRUMPETS

Boutique Agency Makes Statement with Publicity Club of Chicago Honor

CHICAGO June 1, 2015 - Zapwater Communications, Inc. was awarded two Golden Trumpet Awards from the Publicity Club of Chicago’s (PCC) at its annual Golden Trumpet Awards, which honors the most creative and successful public relations campaigns of the year.

Zapwater also received the prestigious Jeffrey D. Bierig Brand Builder Award for its work on behalf of Cufflinks.com.  The Brand Builder Award is giving to the award-winning campaign that has haven the biggest impact on a brand.

In addition to the Jeffrey D. Bierig Brand Builder, Zapwater was presented with the following awards:

“Our annual Golden Trum­pet Awards program recog­nizes the PR campaigns that truly educate, entertain, and inspire. These campaigns raise the bar for the PR industry and “move the needle” for their companies and clients,” said PCC President Jon Kaplan, of Fifth Third Bank. “Winning a Gold Trumpet is the pinnacle of recognition in the Chicago PR community.”

This brings Zapwater’s award tally to seven this year, and a total of 49 since 2013.

Earlier in the year, the agency was a finalist for two Gold Sabre Awards (Best Real Estate and Construction and Best Marketing to Men campaigns), the largest public relations competition in the world.  In addition, Zapwater won a Skyline Award and an Award of Excellence at PRSA Chicago’s annual Skyline Awards.
