ZAPWATER ENDS 2008 WITH ITS FOUR-YEAR ANNIVERSARY
CHICAGO December 22, 2008 -Zapwater Communications Inc., one of Chicago’s fastest growing Public Relations agencies, is proud to celebrate its four-year anniversary. Since opening in December 2004, the company has established itself as one of Chicago’s most innovative boutique agencies. Zapwater Communications saw continued growth in 2008 through both revenue and number of employees. Client highlights included the opening of HUB 51 and unveiling of Hotel Sax. New clients in 2008 included The Iron Horse Hotel, Gibsons’ Restaurant Group and Halo [For Men] bringing the total number of clients to over 30. In addition to new clients, Zapwater expanded their practice areas to include a legal marketing practice.
Zapwater also received industry recognition in 2008, winning three awards for its work. Awards included:

- 2008 Bulldog Award for Best Travel, Hospitality and Destinations Campaign
- 2008 Publicity Club Silver Trumpet for Public Affairs
