CHICAGO (May 23, 2016) – The Peninsula Chicago has retained Zapwater Communications, Inc. to handle public relations and influencer outreach at two of their food and beverage outlets, The Lobby and Shanghai Terrace. The new client adds to the agency’s already growing focus on hospitality, particularly in Chicago.

The Peninsula Chicago is one of the city’s most luxurious and sophisticated hotels, offering guests Far Eastern graciousness, together with Midwestern hospitality, set in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. The Lobby’s award-winning culinary team offers a contemporary American menu during breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a weekend brunch. Located in the heart of the hotel, a traditional afternoon tea service is available and an evening chocolate bar.

Shanghai Terrace offers Cantonese delicacies amidst a 1930s supper club setting. The crown jewel of the restaurant is The Terrace. Boasting stunning city views, The Terrace is positioned four floors above bustling Michigan Avenue.

The Terrace is open Thursday through Sunday for the month of May, and the full launch will take place on Wednesday, June 1. Additionally, lunch will be served daily starting in June.
