ZAPWATER COMMUNICATIONS SHORTLISTED FOR TWO PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS

Zapwater Communications, Inc., is thrilled to share that the agency was announced in PRWeek’s 2024 U.S. Awards shortlist for Best in Public Sector for Visit Finland. In addition, the campaign was also shortlisted in the 2023 Global Indie Awards for the Best Lifestyle PR Campaign category.

The PRWeek Awards is firmly established as the communications industry’s highest accolade. The awards celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, nonprofit and education teams, and the work they produced during the entry period.

The Global Indie awards, run by thenetworkone, are designed to celebrate creative excellence in the independent agency sector across the marketing, communications, and advertising industry. The Indie Awards are the only large scale international awards designed exclusively for independent agencies of all communications disciplines and judged by independent agencies.

Named the happiest country in the world for the sixth consecutive year in 2023, according to the United Nations World Happiness Report, Finland has a firm grasp on what it takes to lead a more fulfilling and happy life. In March 2023, Zapwater worked with Visit Finland to launch a global initiative, offering an amazing opportunity for individuals to participate in an all-expenses-paid trip to Finland in June 2023 to “find their inner Finn.” The purpose of this trip was to attend a four-day Masterclass of Happiness, where participants would have the privilege of being guided by expert coaches through various activities and sessions centered around four key themes: Nature & Lifestyle, Food & Wellbeing, Health & Balance, and Design & Everyday. The response to the campaign was overwhelming, as more than 150,000 applications were submitted from individuals around the world, with the largest number of applications coming from the United States. 

Winners for PRWeek’s U.S. Awards will be announced at a ceremony taking place on March 14, 2024, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, while Indie Awards winners will be announced live in thenetworkone’s ceremony kindly hosted by Four Agency in East London in the UK on Wednesday 24 January 2024.
