CHICAGO (April 17, 2017) – Zapwater Communications, Inc. continues to expand the fast-growing tourism portfolio of the agency with the announcement of a new client acquisition in SSA 27 through the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce. SSA 27 retained Zapwater in April 2017 to help position the Lakeview area as a place where people wish to live, linger and long to return through media relations, brand advancement and awareness and influencer engagement.

Lakeview is one of the most sought after communities in Chicago. Just minutes north of the downtown area, Lakeview’s vibrant streets are home to some of Chicago’s best culture, shopping and dining. Visitors will find an eclectic mix of ‘off-Loop’ theaters in the Belmont Theater District, trendy shopping in the Southport Corridor and an incredible variety of indie businesses on Lincoln Avenue.

The addition of SSA 27 aligns with Zapwater’s strategic move in 2017 to focus on only five primary client categories: consumer products/services; design/real estate; fashion/beauty/retail; hospitality; and tourism/destination. The Lakeview account will be managed by the agency’s tourism and destination team.
