CHICAGO (December 11, 2017) – Zapwater Communications announces it has been retained by Veggie Grill, the largest vegetarian, premium fast casual brand in the U.S., to support the company’s expansion into Chicago. This welcome addition to the Chicago restaurant scene is set to open two locations in Chicago in early 2018, the first Veggie Grills beyond the West Coast; marking an exciting milestone for the fast-growing restaurant concept.

Zapwater’s scope of work includes media relations, influencer relations, events and partnerships.

Veggie Grill will undoubtedly fill a void in a market that is embracing veggie forward by offering menu options that don’t exist in Chicago.  Since its Southern California launch in 2006, Veggie Grill has quickly become the premier veggie-based restaurant concept in the U.S. Offering its full menu of veggie-centric cuisine featuring items created with seasonal ingredients and packed with bold flavors, the restaurant will fulfill consumers’ demand for convenient, deliciously satisfying food. Online ordering and delivery will also be offered. With popular dishes including the VG Beyond Burger, Santa Fe Crispy Chickin’ sandwich, Quinoa Power Salad and Sonoran Bowl, there is something that will leave everyone asking for “more veggies, please.”

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Veggie Grill on their expansion into Chicago,” says David Zapata, president of Zapwater Communications. “Veggie Grill’s passion for creating innovative and craveable food from veggies, fruits, whole grains and nuts sets them apart from their competitors. We’re looking forward to helping fellow Chicagoans  and sharing the Veggie Grill story with local media, influencers and consumers.”

Veggie Grill’s newest locations will serve lunch and dinner to those who work, live and play in Chicago’s busiest neighborhoods: Lakeview and the Loop.
